About GOOD LUCK BABY!'s development history
GOOD LUCK BABY! was originally conceptualized in 2021 by Noodletub Games' writer, C.S. Lowell. Inspired by the spirit of youths going on an adventure larger than life seen in EarthBound (1994), and the premise of helping a baby get back home of anime film Tokyo Godfathers (2003), the initial plot of two teenagers helping a baby with a halo was born. Noodletub Games briefly began development on the project in summer 2021, though it was shelved until spring 2022.On June 14th 2022, the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for "GOOD LUCK BABY!" was officially launched. The campaign was a resounding success, achieving 100% funding in less than 24 hours of its launch. Though the final total on the Kickstarter page reads CA$ 20,347, over CA$10,000 of funding was lost due to troll pledges.After a seven month development cycle, GOOD LUCK BABY! officially launched on March 6th, 2023.

Founded in 2018, Noodletub Games is an indie duo consisting of two queer women, C.S. Lowell (writer) and OSENA (programmer). Both lifelong fans of video games and immersive stories, our goal is to create captivating interactive fiction that anyone can enjoy. On this title, we also worked with commissioned artist and friend @mpmrpjb, a professional illustrator whose gorgeous and colourful art style breathes life into the characters and pivotal scenes.GOOD LUCK BABY! is our third full-length title, proceeded by The Ghost of You (2018) and LOVE BAKUDAN (2021).

The Story
Ex-yakuza Juri Kido has been through a lot in the city of Tokyo. When her group ditches her after a life-changing incident, Juri realizes the true value of her own freedom; and vows to start over somewhere new.Impulsively hopping on a train, Juri finds herself in the coastal hotbed of desire known as Akiyama - a hidden gem in the world of red-light districts! Thanks to a chance meeting on her first night in town, Juri ends up with a place to stay and a brand-new job somewhere a little unconventional. There's truly no other place like it...
Hotel Bakudan is a love hotel famous for the ridiculously wide variety of themed rooms that cater to all tastes, ranging from hilarious to hot as hell! Like being tied up? We've got you covered! What about a room that looks and smells like a bakery? Sure, why not?!However, there are six beautiful women who visit the hotel alone for their own mysterious reasons - and they all need Juri's help. These six all have the potential to change Juri's life in ways she can't even imagine, filling it with romance, comedy, and plenty of drama.
